Film, culture, and the search for deeper relationship.

I’m a film producer, writer, and director whose work explores memory, history, culture, and the forces shaping how people understand their world.

Over the past two decades, I’ve helped bring films including Pi, Requiem for a Dream, Below, and The Fountain to the screen. I also produced the National Geographic series Limitless with Chris Hemsworth.

I’m currently producing On This Day… 1776, a year-long TIME Studios historical series produced by Primordial Soup and made in part with AI from Google DeepMind. The project is giving me direct experience with emerging production methods—and with the larger question of how new technology can expand what filmmakers create while keeping artists in control.

As a co-founder of CSMLGY, I work with Talia Migliaccio to explore clothing as a form of storytelling and cultural expression—and as a way of examining the relationships between people, materials, and the living world.

Years of study in Buddhist philosophy and relationships with Indigenous teachers across the Americas have shaped how I think about reciprocity, stewardship, and responsibility. Across film, technology, and cultural projects, I keep returning to one question: how can the things we create deepen relationship rather than erase it?
